HELP!

Fitted a new Kenwood Headunit today but the following problems have occurred.

1) Central Locking does not work

2) Immobiliser light does not flash on Door pin anymore.

3) Headunit no longer turns off when ignition turned off, where as it did before.

4) Interior light used to come on when ignition switched off, now doesn't.

I used a proper VW audio connector block from Halfords. SO no doggy wiring!

If anyone can offer any help with the above problems I would be grateful.

Alternatively the SKODA SYMPHONY could be on its way back in!!!

Swap the red and yellow wires in the block - it will be the permanant and switched lives swapped aroudn that's all.

That wouldn't cause all the other problems though.

Check you haven't accidentally blown any fuses or shuashed any parts of the wiring loom as you fitted the new stereo

I'd go with the wires being the wrong way round myself.

i had that on my fabia it sent everything werid was ok after changing the red and yellow over.
