Hi, does anyone have, or know where I can find piuctures of the parking sensors when fitted in the bumper of a mk1 octavia? Thanks!

Factory fit or retro fit?

I retro fitted the genuine Skoda sensors in the plastic bumper strip: The factory fit are colour coded and go in the bumper itself I think

I recently fitted a retro fit kit in the bumper and colour coded them. I can take a pic if that's what you're after.

A dumb question perhaps, but how does the parking sensor work?

Thanks. I was just wanting to see where they were more than anything. I have a kit to go in and was planning on putting them in the black bump strip but I'm worried that due to the curvature of the surface they may not sit flat.

Mine are in the black strip....

You stick it in reverse and they beep. Using a signal sent out from the sensors it can detect objects.
