Soft brake pedal after brake change

Steve,

Had similar last time I changed fluids.

Was amazed it felt so different just from fluid change, although it felt like I had more control, more feel, despite more travel.

As Ian suggested if you think you have some air trapped; I thought I did at one point. Find a wet smooth field and get the ABS pumping, might help.

When I changed the pads on my TDi90 estate the brake pedal went frightening to the point that I thought the master cylinder was us. The pedal would gently go to the floor without very little braking effort. However they bedded in amazingly and there is nothing wrong with the pedal at all now. I think all the movement was down to slight misalignment between discs and pads until they got to know each other and could function as a unit. No matter how many times you bleed the brakes it will not get round the bedding in process

After another couple of bleeds and a complete fluid change through a pressure bleeder my brakes are now fine.

AP Race fluid, DS2500s and EBC grooved discs :D:D:D

I'll soon ruin them on 21st Feb :D
