Lol, cheers Ted.

The new Focus does nothing for me I'm afraid. A great car for sure, but I'm happy with my wee Focus.

I've been grinning all evening. The handling is nothing short of amazing, I'm really not missing the extra power the Fabia had.

I had a wee play with my friends Ibiza FR today, in a straight line to 100 he was a good 3 car lengths ahead. Hardly suprising to be honest, but this confirms its not been tinkered with.

As for the twisty stuff, I've been going round corners at speeds where the Fabia would have ended up on its roof, and I haven't even had tyre squeel yet! Superb.

Smiles per gallon are 36mpg for the first 180 miles! God its fun.

Wait until you drive it carefully at 65/70 on the M/ways and get an easy 65MPG back then :)

I'm sure Tom's not going to want to mod this one as he's still saving for a house ;) I can highly recommend a Dragon Tuning box though

Chris

Hence the cheap little budget runabout

But it was cheap, little, budget NOT cheap, little budget ;)

You trying to bankrupt me fella? That site's full of great stuff.

Will be getting the side repeaters from them methinks.

ST170 Front fogs

Rear spoiler + painting and fitting

Power folding mirrors

ST170 head lamps

Blimey.

I intend to keep it pretty much standard, the only mods for the time being will be clear repeaters (Ford Genuine, of course)

IMHO, the crystal side repeaters look better than the clear ones and are available on eBay for very reasonable price ;)

Chris

I'll ask but i think `a friend` might have a Van Aken tuning box for that engine erm floating about;)

I think I agree, but I'm keen to keep the OEM look tbh.

Tuning box? Let me know and I'll give it a go, as long as the price is right.

Insurance want

£220 for a tuning box

How old are you? - 17 ?!?!?!

Imvho, it does look OEM until you park up next to another one ;)

Link me to some.

My main concern is the fit of aftermarket jobbies, genuine Ford ones should fit, er, well.

I like the look of these - US spec rears... Mmmm.

They're smart, but do you lose orange indicators to red indicators though? I think I'm right in saying that american cars can have either, but over here I don't know if it's legal to have red ones.
