AAW thats beauty! saw that on a post card, but the one i saw wasnt that by golf, it was stirght out hte factory i think. It had non of that trim, but was that yellow.

I like the idea of the VR6 lump in the felicia, however i'd rather spend time getting the original 1.3mpi in mine upto its full potential.

I know it'd be hard work for (relatively) little gain, but I think that a nice nippy NA 1.3 with about 90bhp would be a very handy car to have round town

Funny you should mention that, 90hp is actually fairly easy to obtain, WITHOUT major cam swaps or head work etc. With a competition built engine you can look at 150hp out of that little engine block

The work done on that one was minimal as it was a group N car, basically the exhaust was replaced the airfilter element bu not the housing, the injectors were uprated and the ecu replaced. The engine itself was untouched!

Skoda Puikcup VR6....

I saw a few years ago in a swedish magazine called Bilsport an article on such a car. They took a Pickup and dismantled it and put in a VR6 engine from Golf. They styled it and put on some awesome wheels on it. I remember the test driver was terrified while drving it. It was incredibly fast and of course it was tuned up!

Been trying to get hold of the magazine and if I get hold of it I will put it on the site.....

personally have you thoguht of buying a leer jet you probably go as fast yet may cost you more and i bet you could get some serious ice in a jet not very helpful i know sombody call my social worker

Hi, I'm new here but an old hand on Retro Rides etc.

I would love to see the photos/article - I have something similar planned. ;)

Especially engine bay shots and any brake/hub ones!

Ta! :D

Skoda VR6 2.8 1995 Car Tuning Pictures » Modified Cars

The above link refers to it and has a couple of pics, but the owner of it now hasn't a clue what he/she's on about - it was never a 1995 Felicia thats had a MK.2 front end fitted, its a genuine 1998 MK.2 Felicia.

I have almost built my car... :) Felicia Fun with 1.8T. Motor is running and testdrive will be soon.

I have a cracking one of the engine , but my photobucked has packed up :( will keep trying
