Skoda Parts CD

Featured Replies

I know some people on here have one of these already, but I'm wondering which is the best one to get, and where from. I've looked on eBay and there appears to be two different types on there, at different prices.

And advice/recommendations welcome (within reason)

Thanks

yeah i wouldn't mind a copy of the skoda etka software (or similar).... i've got the vw version 5, and the seat version 6 if anybody is interested??

...i wouldn't pay for it, just as illegal if you download it yourself from the pirate bay or similar....

Ohhh come on, give me a break! Can somebody give me a web site were I can download it free:rolleyes:

Isaac

.

I have bought the otherone (autodata?) from ebay... not really even worth a few quid.... but it was cheap, and easier than faffing about with p2p.... although I might go and see what I can find in the bay!

ETKA's not bad. it's not a haynes manual, or anything, but it does identify *all* parts on a massive number of VAG-et-al cars in exploded diagrams - and you can print them out and get them oily! Enough to be handy taking stuff to bits, and also useful for getting the part numbers to avoid cockups at the stealers. lets you cherry pick interesting bits off other cars, as well...

mmm, seems to be a lack of seeders at the moment, but queued up anyway!!

ETOS is better than ETKA as it has all four main brands on it, meaning you can cross reference parts.

noted, and searching!

Hmmm, thanks for that me hearty's. When I get off nights I think I'll go sailing the seven seas for plunder.:D

I just did!

OK, to spell it out: if you were to go to a website like The Pirate Bay - The worlds largest BitTorrent tracker or btjunkie - the largest bittorrent search engine then search for "Etka" then you'd probably find some quite useful results....

Not that I'm condoning this or anything!

I don't wish to be a killjoy but for the benefit of the site owner and other members I don't think you should be discussing the use of counterfeit VAG software on a forum that we know to be frequented by Skoda and it's dealers.
