I've just ordered my Fabia vRS in Black magic. It's coming in early March and I can't wait.

The Seat Arosa has had to go, It's fun but tiring at motorway speeds. The 1.4 16v motor does develop 100 BHP, but nothing's doing 'till over 3500 revs, this makes it great on B roads, but 80mph cruising see's 4000 RPM on the tacho. I'm looking forward to 6th gear and about 2000 RPM in the vRS.

Hopefully I'll make it to some midlands meets in the spring and summer and get to meet some of you guys

I'll let you have some first impressions when I get it in March.

You should get yourself along to the Midland Mega Meet in Feb that Funkyjutel is organising and meet some of the members. It may help ease the pain of waiting for your baby to arrive!

I had a black polo, then a Stone Grey (Bluey silver) Fabia, both of which (black and silver) are now getting so popular, that is all i see on my way to work sometimes. So i went for red (also because the only wait was how long it would take for the insurance to come through). It is an excellent car, have fun

You have made a great decision in the Fabia vRS. There seems to be lots on here who are jelous of our little cars! :P I am the same as Jeff in the fact that I was getting so bored of seeing black and silver cars, I went for a Yellow one! Would have gone for red, but had a Red 106 and a Cayenne Fabia, which is kind of red/orange coloured!

I did not realise esp was now available on the vrs. How do I find out the full range of options? My dealer had an official skoda leaflet which did not even mention cruise control.

By the way are we in danger of becoming a laughing stock by describing our cars as "Yellow vrs with 'zenons' or 'stack cd' - are we going to go as far as 'with mudflaps and a full tank of diesel?' - visitors to the site might have a good laugh at our expense..
