There is the black plastic cylinder mounted on the front of the RS engine , low down underneath the oil filter with two plastic pipes coming off it.

One pipe runs into the air box.

It look like some sort if pump. What is its purpose?

Does anyone know how a1topdog is getting on with rebuilding the 'scratched' RS he bought, and surely someone must know the answer to his query above?

Time to have a talk with the dog............
