Just to refer back to a point on the first page of this thread.

I have managed to enable the second fog on my 2007 vRS, the bulb etc is already in place it's just a click of the mouse away!!

Quick bump. Wondering whether an octy 2 vRS cruise retrofit is more or less identical to that on a golf 5 GTI with the same engine? Any ideas please?

@stu. I followed your guide and have enabled the fog with my VAGCOM, turned off the seatbelt warning and also enabled the emergency activation of the indicators during hard braking. However that doesnt seem to work when I stand on the brakes......

I've not tried that emergency brake activation. AFAIK it's linked in with ASR/Traction etc.

Another thing is I did is activate the low level warning for the washer fluid. Even with the fluid level topped to the max it still showed low so I presume there is a sensor missing from the bottle.
