felica 1.3 battery light dim at night then stalls

Featured Replies

do you know how to test the CTS

I believe this to be correct for the 1.6, but don't know what/ if there is any testing differences for the other engines -

Terminals 1 and 3 should show a decreasing resistance with increasing coolant temperature. Ranges as follows:

0 degrees C............5000-6500 Ohm

20 degrees C..........2250-3000 Ohm

40 degrees C..........1000-1500 Ohm

60 degrees C..........550-700 Ohm

80 degrees C..........275-375 Ohm

Recommended to remove and test in coolant of known temperatures, but can still get some idea of how well it's working by testing in-situ (I found).

I don't know how they tend to fail but I guess they may just show constant high/ infinite resistance or perhaps they go out of range after time???
