My significant other is now on her third Peugeot 306 Diesel in ten years, each clocking up over 100,000 fault free miles ( save for the odd niggly bits and pieces - but never broken down ).

I know that this is about looks not reliability, but her current moonstone silver V-Plate 306 D-Turbo, with Factory GTI-6 wheels bodykit and suspension still turns heads, which for a design going back to 1993 is pretty good.

( and it is still the nearest thing to a go-cart I have ever driven on the road, shame it's only 110 bhp !)

I've liked the look of the 3 door C4 since it came out. It's different. Performance is poo though but it looks cool.

Ooh, 944 S2 - very nice.

You're quite right about the functionality of it - in terms of doors it's a hatchback really, although the boot isn't particularly deep owing to the gearbox sat below it.

I'd like to nominate the AMV8.. its a two door hatch...
