Regardless of what may be said, the renault megane 225 is an awesome car. I had one for 2 years, and no problems, build quality was excellent, and i'd say better than my VRS.

Only problem came when i tried to take it through a small puddle, and it 'may' have ingested a bit of water. Turns out the only thing they don't have is a set of gills

Turns out it was a bit deeper than i though

Until it died i never had any reliability issues, apart from a cracked window one frosty morning
