KIT CAR with skoda on back

Featured Replies

A couple of weeks ago I am in Oxford when I see this red convertible - god knows what it was - quite tiny and resembling a D type Jag.

Anyhow, it had skoda written in big letters in the aero fin thing coming behind the drivers head .

Anyone know of this??????

Like a convertable and less dead version of this??

Saw a very nice Porsche look a like - based on a rear engined Skoda.

Was it one of these?

What is that Pitt? I think thats a pic that I've seen in a few of the dealers - they had it on their 100 years of Skoda posters in the showrooms.

I'm not really sure. It's on the homepage of the Italian Skoda Vintage site, but I can't understand what it says. I've seen one at a car show a few years back.

1958 Skoda 1100 ohc, only two survive, one in the Skoda Museum, one in the Uk.The UK car came over when the Russians invaded driven by a Czech student and as you can see the car had no roof !

I knew that you'd know that Steve!

I reckon the guys that started the thread had probably

seen a Banham kits ... Porsche Spyder replica ....

which is made by butchering a Skoda Rapid.

One day I'm going to chop up a Porsche to build a Skoda replica!

A 911 drivetrain might fit an Estelle/Rapid 136?

This is what I saw! (I started the thread see my little pic I made)

Wow I feel honoured - we should do a celebrity spot for the guy who owns it - it was awesome and I think I was right in saying it was D type Jag-esque. However it did sound like a bag of bolts and I overtook it in my Octy.
