"You can pick up one of the earliest Y-reg ones now for well under

Given that some people are claiming the Austin Maestro and Montego to be classics, I'd say it's a shoe-in!

Must say, thats a good write up

Well done fifth gear.

and well done to VBH for her "getting banged about lots on 5th gear" comment on Monday evening.

I always knew they had some taste (counting Tiff Needell aside of course) They even showed the worlds fastest road car recently..wait for it......2200bhp, built by a bloke in a garage in Wolverhampton:eek: and based on a Vauxhall Victor, bloody awesome....or as they would say in Wolves..."It was right wicked ar kidd"!

Aint it funny how all of a sudden everyone loves 5th Gear? :rubchin:

How fickle we are!!

I rarely get to see 5th Gear, but any show with VBH on it every week is doing something right IMO!

indeed. I only caught the show by accident, but it was a pleasure to see VBH again :-)

It would be cool to get VBH to do "star in a reasonably priced car" on TG.... :-)

Sorry Guys 5th Gear is IMHO still a crock of sh*te.

I mean reverse racing around the track, what was that all about

thank god someone thinks it a pile of dog egg!

VBH is the exact reason that i dont watch it i hate the woman, good job Top Gear got rid of her

I agree Fifth Gear is very very suspect at times, especially with that numpty Tim Lovejoy on it now and they will never be forgiven for the reversing around the track stunt with the GTI and vRS......

But it's on straight after the Gadget Show with Suzi Perry (or the Suzi Perry show with gadgets :D ) so it does get watched from time to time.
