Saw a yellow on the road today, you can see them from miles away - as would the coppers!!

Get the Petrol Tom, a nice colour - not yellow and why not try and seek out a used one (although some new prices are not bad).

I hear the remapped ones pull like a diesel.

It seems the cheapest used ones are the price of new ones from brokers still... :(

However if you want to PX then make sure you do some sums with a dealer first as the brokers won't do you any favours. There is only money in one end of the deal.

IMHO a Yellow one will always have a lower residual than it's equivalent 'normally' coloured one. Ask the dealer how many Yellow ones have been shifted vs say the Silver or Black.

I really dont think the yellow is for me. I want silver or red for sure. As for the deal, I will definitely be flogging the Focus privately. Been offered in the realms of £6k for it part ex, but I'm confident I could get £7k for it as a private sale... it still has 8 months warranty and I'd put a years ticket on it...

Ahh but all is not rosy when selling privately. Knock at least £100 off of that for adverstising and keeping it clean etc. Not to mention the bridging finance or time without car etc. Then you have to hope someone buys it sooner rather than later.

You also have to accept that the Focus isn't in short supply so it's a buyers market out there.

I'm not saying you shouldn't but think wisely.
