Might have something to do with that rocker cover gasket that I got the bits for, but never got round to changing.

Is the gasket itself in the boot?

The cone shaped plug things are for the rocker cover - they go under the two nuts that hold it in place (just changed rocker cover gasket on my Felicia - that's the only reason I know about them).
