Get my Octavia VRS on Thursday

Featured Replies

I'm new to skoda. I've just bought an Octavia VRS to be picked up on thursday 2nd hand. I didn't realise that the service from the skoda dealers was so good!!

Because the front seats were slightly worn and because its only 2 years old, they've replaced the seats without me even asking for it to be done. Not bad. (I wouldn't get this kind of service from my current Fiat dealer). :):)

Andy

Not bad how much did they charge you for the car? I bought a 11 month old vRS from an independant dealer a couple of weeks ago.

Fiat = Fix It Again Tomorrow.

Good choice in car and welcome!

Welcome Andy. You will find the octy a great improvement over the Fiat I am sure.

Welcome Andy, my dealer did the same with my front seat. Must be a Skoda thing ;)

hiya Andy, welcome to the club, i'm new to the Octy vRS also and can confirm you WILL love the car, i came from a Renault and your right, you dont get the Skoda service from other dealers...

I can't wait until I get the car. Its on a Y plate, 21,000 miles, not a scratch on it. The previous owner to me has also put the 2001 WRC rear spoiler on the car. It looks the part. It cost me

congrats andy and welcome to the site :D

You will enjoy it, has great acceleration. The only thing I don't like about my one is the light coloured carpet.

Um, it's not THAT bad!!

But yeah, the Skoda in the family is much better put together and dealer service is better than Fiat's any day of the week!

Once you get used to the performance, see Mr. SokodiRS for a Jabba group buy and say hello to a new car!

I take it you are a true convert now then Steve :D

The remap does make a slight difference doesn't it :D

I did a test the othe day. On my private test track, I reached 105mph from a roundabout to a bridge (uphill). In my modded scoob it was just on 100 and in the prejabba'd tavia it was 85. So I would say apart from slow in fast out wet corners, the tavia is now faster than the WRX :D and still gives me 38mpg on a good steady run :D:D and has a boot big enough for my little one's pram, high chair, toys, walker etc. etc .......

Steve

Hate to say it but, "told you so" :D
