Just wondering what the Briskoda massive might come up with when it comes to the %% of members caught speeding in the last year, compared to those who have not.

No, but there are very few speed cameras in cumbria, so i'd imagine the odds are lower up here.

Been clean for 5 years now ... everyday is a struggle, what with my heavy right foot affliction, but have been lucky.

I've not been caught , but that doesn't mean I have been sticking to limits rigidly.

In fact , I wonder what the results would be of a poll asking people whats the highest speed they have done on a public road in the UK

Nope - I'm boring and stick to limits pretty carefully. I would imagine that a speed trap would have to be within about 50 yards of a lower speed limit starting for me to be "caught".

I firmly believe that the road in question and time of day plus an officer in very good spirits came together at that time.

I act much more responsibly now.

I perhaps should have made this - "and got points", but we'll leave this to run as it stands.

At the end of this month, I'll have completed my 12th year of driving, hopefully still with a clean licence ... sure that'll curse it now

I've never been caught speeding.

My license is clean (well it will be when I bother to send it off to get the points that ran out in 2005 off)

I've been driving since 1988, never had any points on my licence (touch wood!) and only ever been stopped once.... that was 16 yrs ago, and the policeman just told me to be more careful

never been done for speeding , finds some wood and touches it ,but i generally don't speed as it costs to much in fuel , even in the Fabia VRS
