No Lucky, got cought in 05 and got 5 points of my 6. Go upto 12 points in 7 days just in the bag incase something goes wrong.

Been driving for twenty years and have been free of points for the last 12 years.

I've not been stopped since 1978, then the policeman just told me off, i was driving a car with german plates, but I DO check my mirrors and if i see a car rapidly catching me up, i slow down.

I got caught on the dual carriageway near the hospital in Hartlepool, they quite often have a camera van halfway up the road in a layby, it wasn't there so I put my foot down a little bit.

It was further down at the end of the road :eek: 52 in a 40

No, of course not. OTOH the last time there was a speed trap up here, "rumour control" notified everyone of its location.

No having had 9 points on the licence :eek: for the last three years i have had to be a little careful!!!

I always drive locally so know where all the speed cameras are and the little hiding places of all the cops! If we go further afield, we use hubby's car and he has one of these little gadgets for telling you where theres a camera. we went to Wales in summer and, and boy, did it go off a lot there! must be loadsa cameras there!

I'll find out in the next 4 weeks. :( May have been caught doing 70 down a 50 mph road (it used to be 70 but they reduced a while ago). Slowing up for a police car in the inside lane so I was coming down to 50 but then realised there was a speed camera van parked in the layby :thumbdwn: and I was still doing 65.

Lost my licence for 6 months last year for totting up !!

Got my vRS on April 10th 2006 - the day I got my licence back and haven't looked back. Got a Road Angel which really is superb. I drive back and forth to London from Exeter a couple of times a month and it duly reminds me of the nine cameras I pass going up the A303/M3....

I was caught speeding, received an NIP in the post, but heard no more about it. 52 in a 30. Prior to that, well over 12 months ago, I got 6pts and
