Exhaust Price

Featured Replies

Hi , Anyone know the cheapest place to get a new exhaust , for my Skoda Felicia Estate ?

thanks < John ( Glasgow )

Had to get silencer replaced on my Felicia 1.3 (2000).

Ebay could well be your friend here.

Hi - just replaced my exhaust (from the cat back) for

just done the back box on my 1.6. it cost me about £30 and half an hour with a 13mm spanner. job done.

Be aware that non original exhausts are not as good a fit as dealer supplied parts,i had one on the favorit estate i bought and when i looked under the fixing points are in a different position and are stretching the exhaust rubbers. They arfe also the cause of under body banging sometimes due to bad fitting.Skud ones are the same price normally too.

Thanks to everyone who posted . The Cat Converter had a crack in it .

The main Garages Quoted abput £150 - £250 ! ! ! no chance .

so went to a small Garage who got a cat for £76 ,fitted it cost me £100

SO it paye to shop arround .

Good grief! If he could do the same price for a diesel cat it would have almost been worth travelling up from the Midlands to get it fitted. Skoda quoted hundreds and I thought I got a good deal on-line in the end. I can't remember exactly how much I paid for the Bosal cat in the end but it definitely wasn't £76.

A lot of places round here just couldn't get one.

I've just checked the receipt - I paid just over £150 including post and packing from exhaustshack.co.uk but had to fit that as well. Still not bad compared to the local Skoda dealer.
