The tints are only 40% but are a new tint that is reflective so look darker than they are.

If the police pull me over all you say is they are security film as they are now classed under another law so are still legal. Had a new receipt saying it is security film so no problems.

Very nice what tyres are they on? What KW's? How's the handling?

Very nice Monkey Boy, infact too nice!

NOW I WANT ANOTHER RS...............

Superb anyone?

Steve

 Pimptastic Paul :D :D

BLING BLING!!!!!!! Looks totally gangsta' man!!! (that's the last time I read someones max muppet) Seriously tho' those wheels really set the black off

is the suspension height adjustable?

All I am going to say is WOW, cool looking car.

@kenny, Yes all models of KW are height adjustable from the V1 to V3

Very nice. Unfornunately your tints on the front are illegal :( They look a similar tint to mine which are coming off on Saturday :bigcry: ).

Steve

Bloody hell, you've got the same style number plate as me too!

Steve

That is a very nice looking Octy. ;) The wheels and the drop set it off perfectly.

Steve

who cares if they are illegal... proving it is difficult.. local pigs tried with me when i had the clk... they gave up.... :D

Looks very nice

Think i'll sell a family member or 2 to pay for KW's :D

Looks very nice! Might be a good time to consider a sump guard, available from either Erik@AAT or your friendly Skoda dealer.

oops forgot to say, the car looks great. 1st class

what type of KW's did u get? whats the comfort like compared with standard??

Tyres are 225/40/18 Khumo os some sort.

Handling is much improved with little body roll now.

Police in my area would not bother about the tints. Phil who put them on for me took his focus with the same tints to our local station and they said they were fine as they would only stop you if they were a dark tint. To much paperwork to stop everybody with tints.

I went for KW 1's in the end. Ride is slightly harder than standard but still pleasant to drive.

looking good paul, although your motors always do...

re the tints... if you look through the front window in the top pic you can see the bridge in the back ground through the windows on the other side of the car, its as clear as it is through the fron screen so i'd have thought they would be fine, i'll say also, when your in the car the tints are ALOT loghter than they appear on the pics.

your car doeslook very good.

is that as low as it will go? im wondering what susptogo for as i dont want too hard a ride and crash over bumps etc.

Backs are as low as they will go but are bedding in and getting lower so more than likely need raising later on but the fronts have about 2" left so could go a lot lower.

Going to let them settle before i start playing with them.

even as low as it is they do not crash but sometimes knock slightly but all coilovers do.

Nice wheels (as in car), how much did all the mods cost?

  • Administrators

You have a great car...but an even better mechanic...70+vat for fitting..OMFG thats a bargin.

Under duress I ended up paying 180 odd for last KW's to be removed pre-sale, was on a 4x4 where the rears are supposedly much harder to remove *cough*...still I have a long memory ;)
