Just been down to my local Skoda dealer to negotiate a deal on a brand new vRS hearse in black magic. Best he could do was

I don't know if I dreamt this or not but I recall around the time the estate was due out there was much talk about the fact it got 16 and not 17 inch wheels. From what I remember fitting 17's would cause warranty problems, obviously so would a re-map but the wheels are a little easier to spot.

Geoff, yeah always the plan and told them I'd be doing the rounds so expected a bit more movement on the 'sticker price'. Especially this time of year aswell and wanting to hit targets before the new reg comes out etc.

Rich, not too concerned about the warranty issues. Like you say the thing would be going straight to jabba anyway. Or should I try REVO........

It was something about skoda couldn't engineer the wheels to fit properly at the back at the factory, oh well, at your own risk. Remember it doesn't entirely affect your warranty, just related items.

You could always keep your 16's and fit them back to the car whenever going to the dealer for warranty issues.
