I cant figure out how to upload pictures to this site so could some kind sole who has access to part numbers etc have a look and let me know if this bracket is replaceable on it's own. How much it is (roughly) and what the part number is.

I am unsure as to if Just the bracket (which is well bent) can be changed on it's own and the round bit (at the end of the "trailing arm" Straightened out a bit (it dosent seem to be damaged in-side of the round bit just seems like the outta bit is bent in a touch). the trailing arm apart from the damage to the round bit seems perfectly straight as does the pole going from one side of the car to the other.

Don't ask me how it happened as all body work around it looks okay, I am wondering if someone at a tyre place put the trolley jack in the wrong place. That or a very specific pot hole?

The wheel does not seem to have any movement in it (apart from roundways) and it looks like although the bracket is well bent it seems to be doing it's job okay,, as the car stays in a perfectly straight line even under braking (including handbraking which i did as a test) :D

Please tell me cheap as monies are tight at the moment.

Okay i figured it out but you can click the links to get "BIG IMAGES"

Finally upon closer inspection found i need the bush as well (as it seems damaged) anyone have part number + Cost please?

also just wondering how much the arm is i suspect it is a "whole part" both sides being linked, I think i can repair the one i have with a bit of heat and brute force (to make it round again) but if i cant just wondering if i will have to re-mortgage the house!!

Cheers dean

Yes it is, A friendly garage have said they will be able to re-round it and as the point in question is not "load bearing" it will not be an mot failure.....I can only hope they can do it or it's going to cost about
