This morning, for the first time in over a year I remembered why I bought the Octy. Everything was actually working well on the drive to work this morning, and itr was happily and quickly (for a diesel) accelerating up to at least 110 and actually felt happy. Normally it is feels a bit hesitant, but not today.

So what did I do to the car yesterday? Not a thing. To me it proves that the turbo itself is fine, and that is must be something else which is not working properly.... I was planning on cleaing the EGR valve shortly, and then replacing the vacuum pipes.

I guess I'll have to wait till tonight to see how it behaves onthe return trip. One thing i have noticed is that if I drive the car at lunch time, then it seems to be a bit more lively in the evening (but not as good as it was this morning!)
