Can anyone help?

I have an electronic oil temp gauge to go in, and as yet have no idea where the temp sender locates on the engine/sump:confused:

Any ideas people??

There is a suitable blanking plug on the oil filter housing at the front of the engine.

Pretty sure its well covered even with some pictures if you search.

Is the thread a standard oil sender size? (I know it sounds stupid). I mean, do after market gauges tend to use a standard size thread on the sender or is it likely that some sort of adaptor will be required?

The sender that came with my gauge screwed right in. I think it's an M10 thread if I recall correctly.
