I'm intrested in these DSG autoboxes after the terrible auto's Skoda currently offer!

When at the dealer today, they happened to mention that they are to receive a new Octavia II in about July. So it looks like it will be in the showrooms before september.

Merritts in Aylesbury send out a leaflet announcing that as well... Planning to make at least a test drive :)

New Octavia Estate pictures from AutoBild:

And:

More engine details from the same article: a 2.0T FSI with 180hp will follow in 2005.

And on the diesel front: a 3-cyl 1.5 TDI (so the 2.0 TDI with one cylinder cut off?) producing 100 hp is due in 2007. The 2.0 TDI will get a 160hp/350Nm version.

Estate looks great from the front but the back, what have they done, those lights are just ridiculous, why oh why are they so BIG. It just looks like an up scaled fabia.

Also ideally placed to catch whilst loading the car & I guess they will cost a small fortune !

The Estate looks too Mondeo-like for me. :(

Nice...
