hi and welcome. start a thread on [ask a tech. ]

A bent back axle!!

I take it is accident damaged.

Is it a MK1 or MK2?? Two very different setups, as are the MK4 and MK5 Golfs.

Rear axle beam, not sure if the golf 4 one will fit.

There are many causes for bent beams. Accident damage is just one. Jacking the car up using the beam can also bend it, thats why there is a big sticker on it saying not to do it.

You still aren't being specific enough. Is it MK1 1U or MKII 1Z chassis?

The MKII which I suspect it may be has a multi link suspension setup which doesn't have a beam axle. There is however a subframe.
