Meguires gets the thumbs up from me

Featured Replies

Just spent all afternoon cleaning and polishing the red beast. I had previously used autoglym and mer wax.

This time I thought I would try something different. Went down to the local max power style shop frequented by teenagers and picked up some meguires products and wow, far better than anything I have tried so far.

Products Used -

Easy to apply but what a pain to remove, needs lots of elbow grease but the results were superb. Removed with a Meguires micro fibre detailing cloth.

Just spray on and rinse off, I needed to brush it around a bit though because of the state the wheels were in. sprayed some onto brake calipers as well, then rinsed off and everything looks like new. All the crud has come of the calipers giving them that showroom appearance.

So I give them all 10/10, their products are a bit expensive though as its imported from the US.

Ive just bought some Zymol car shampoo from Halfords , not had a chance to use it yet but it will be interesting to see if it can beat the performance of my long term favourite , Turtle wax Zip wax shampoo.

I use Mer shampoo with some Mer liquid polish in with it too, it give a great result. But I am interested in if anyone else has used this Meguire,s stuff.

Had my Octy Amazing Glazed before it was released to me by my dealer, and only now does it start to feel less than perfect, and thats 4 1/2 years and washing with Mer.

Cheers
