Octavia Mk1 RS Suspension - Confused!!!

Featured Replies

I have a Mk1 Octavia RS and the handling has gone to pot, I jacked the car up at the weekend and the front lower arm bushes are knackered and the front dampers are leaking.

So, I am going to get poly bushes fitted to the suspension arms, but what about the dampers.......................?

New standard shocks are about

I've driven a MK II with the FSD Eibach combo and it was very impressive. After having the full Eibach setup on my Fabia RS I wouldn't take that route again.

I thought no one did vRS uprated springs?

I believe ColinD has FSD's and std springs. Might be worth PM'ing him.

I'd go either std dampers/spings + rear anti roll bar. Or FSD/std springs with rear anti roll bar.

fsd and standard springs is a dream.really transforms the handling, and you don't suffer from crashy damping or a harsh ride.

i some how think i should have gone for eibach springs too,but my darn driveway said otherwise.
