Can anyone remind what pub you are hoping to all meet at?

I think I need to know that too :-)

I know Colin was all too eager to write me off, but I may still make a guest star appearance :D

Well, my plans have changed and i will be there for the whole meet now, just got to find somewhere for my lunch unless i can sneak into the pub with everyone else!!! :D

Having had a quick glance out of the window, bring some waterproofs ;)

Hope the weather clears up later on, and have a great time!

Watch out for a black MK I Octy VRS (OY04 ***)

It has an additional lighting pack.

On the M3/M27 you are fine for cameras, just be a bit careful aroun the M275 bridge as there are sometimes some on that bridge. Otherwise it's just the unmarked cars.

Hope everyone who came along had a good time despite the weather.

Thanks to Chris for arranging the treasure hunt. :)

I am back in wet Weymouth now! Made it back in half the time it took to get over to the pub though!

I hope that someone got some good pics of the cars in the rain!

Excellent day out and I'll upload the couple of photos I have of Em and Jeff's incident when I can get them off my phone. Also had a "run in" with the black police octy mentioned above on our way home on the fun roads up to Romsey - luckily I'd spotted the two chaps in stab vests in it so was reduced to overtaking him (completely legallly of course) on the twisty stuff ;)

Good to put names to faces and I hope the beach excursion wasn't too much of a washout!

Chris

Got back about an hour ago. I apologise for not being that talkative, i was shattered. :o I think i'm also going deaf!!!!:rofl:

Didn't manage to get any pics, so i hope there are some good ones.

Cheers to everyone for organising.

Also, just a note to Xavier. Sorry about the slight detour on the way back, i got distracted and didn't notice i was in the wrong lane for the A34!!!:rofl:

Would like to see pics when somebody gets a chance to upload them seeing as I couldn't make it!

Sorry the weather stayed pants.:thumbdwn:

Was a good day, despite the weather.

John, I did wonder about that slight sight-seeing detour

I'll get my photos up soon :)

Thanks to everyone for a great meet and camp. Really made my birthday a special day

Wibble has some nice bruising on her leg from falling down the cattle grid  and my head still hurts from where she whacked me with the wooden spoon (the treasure hunt booby prize) :D

Thanks again.

Top weekend and thanks to Mark and Chris for all the organisation  God knows when either all the canvas or my head :o will dry out :D:D:D:D

As promised, here are the couple of pics I took on the day.........

Em and Jeff who decided to try a bit of offroading

:D

Oh dear! Obviously it got back on the tarmac in the end but how easy was it?

Shame we couldn't make this but my parents were here so we couldn't really leave them.

Oh dear! Obviously it got back on the tarmac in the end but how easy was it?

It was as easy as holding up a line of impatient people in cars ... in the pi$$ing rain ... and trying to stop the front of the car slithering into the ditch.

Piece of cake really! ;)

Well you get first prize from me. Thanks for getting me out. I still owe you that drink, I'll have to do it in Czech now.

It was strangely hilarious. I was reversing back taking the strain on the tow rope. At the same time I was very close to a fence so my reverse sensors were on fully.

Wibble was on the cattle grid stopping traffic and as I reversed back she screamed - I thought i'd hit her  Turns out she slipped and fell into the cattle grid  Emily was curled up howling with laughter.

Just goes to show i shouldn't have relied on my sat nav whilst eating a mars bar, which was bad because i had to keep taking a hand off the wheel but i kept my rubbish in the car!!:rofl:

It never told me to keep left and i was off in a dream world. :o:D

Why does it look like i'm trying to thumb a lift off Emily and Roo!!!! :D:rofl:

We need more pics up. I never got round to taking any for fear of finishing last.

Also, was it Milford-on-Sea we went to for our cliff top park???

Cliff top was Barton on Sea....

Milford is a bit further down and had the weather been nicer it's a very nice walk out on the spit to the castle.
