Did I deserve a headlight flashing?

Featured Replies

Are you sure it wasnt because you are driving a Skoda.

Last week on my way to Scarborough (A64) I overtook a Peugeot 106 with a girl driving. I looked in the mirror and her boyfriend was laughing and I saw him mouth 'Skoda'. Pathetic

You've got much better mirrors than I have if you can see what people are saying after overtaking them!

I don't think they could have identified the car unless they were good on car shapes as mine's totally debadged and I don't think could have read the stickers (being that tricky twilight time of day :))

I'm starting to think the exhaust note could have been quite harsh on their eardrums, so another reason to flash. Tell me my exhaust is too loud - "Yes, I know it is, but it's the best performing one so it's staying!" :D

They have every right to laugh, they were in a Peugeot 106 and you were in a Skoda, no contest, we all know that.

I get laughed at by Passat drivers every day . Are you sure you didn't catch him mouthing the latter part of "I wish we could afford a decent car like that Skoda"?

Re the 4x4 driver..............................

Road captain and a general **** :finger:

All you need next time is a passenger and one of these - B&Q Online

If only B&Q did those lol

My guess is that the 4x4 driver was hungry, tired, suffering from piles, needing a pee, waiting to be told off by his wife, yet wanting to get back home for tea and was sticking hard to keeping the speed limit despite the physical discomfort...

A Mongrel screaming by with a sonic boom/ smoke stream must have irritated him further, and since he couldn't possibly keep up with a Mongrel at wide open throttle, wanted to show you that at least his lights were better than yours...

Jase you need an electric rollerblind for such situations, so that you can show him that you aren't affected in the slightest.

S**w him....

Bas

Good idea that, an electric rear blind with something discreet on it like.......... :finger:

On the same road as I previously mentioned (A84) I was driving home with the pizzas one evening (Mimmos in Callander sells the best pizzas in Central Scotland :D:D) when I was tailgated by an MX5. We came up to a slower moving car. Mr Mazda then decided to overtake me and car in front on the approach to a blind bend, then went round said bend on the wrong side of the double white lines :eek:

The car in front of me turned off, and I caught up with Mazdaman as he got stuck behind another slower moving car - oncoming traffic so he was stuck.:rofl:

Oncoming traffic cleared, long straight. MX5 overtakes car in front, I floor it in 4th and overtake both, leaving Mazdaman in a cloud of dust and Tesco 99RON fumes :D:D:D

He then started to flash his lights furiously, which I thought was a bit rich considering his driving a few minutes before :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Didn't see him again :rofl::rofl::rofl:

doesn't the fact that you're asking the question, rather than moaning about an undeserved flashing () give you the answer ;):D
