Do a search on google images, loads of pics, most wallpapers. It has the same steering wheel as vRS Fabia e.t.c looks similar inside. It is a superb isn't it? Wonder what engine they would put in it if it did/will? go into production?

Rumour has it that the superb is going into production, BUT as the VW passat coupe.

Do you not mean the Tudor Manny? ;)

Damn, Skoda need a car like that to finaly show that they can produce fast and sexy cars, as for Passat coup

What about the PhotoChop i found on DeviantArt? Arent they Scooby wheels?

Must have been reading my mind I found a picture in the Nottingham paper yesterday and I was going to scan it in as I'd not seen it before - nice isn't it

hello friends

there has been a market segmentation in VAG group,

and it goes like this:

VW will go for Mercedes crowd

Audi for BMW crowd

Skoda will shoot for Volvo fans

Seat will aim for Alfa Romeo

so, according to the above, expect to see the sporty models

more often on the other three labels of the group, rather than Skoda..

nevertheless, the Skoda plant in Chechoslovakia remains one of the most advanced,

and lots of R&D for everyhting in the group is taking place over there

I guess I would expect from Skoda more of terrific build quality and sturdiness in the future,

and less of sporty stuff...

cheers!!

The Tudor was the first Skoda I was after, bitterly disappointed that they did not produce them, but then kinda glad, as would never have had discovered the shear grinappeal of the vRS WRC.

I suppose this will be relesed as the Passat Coup

Skoda will shoot for Volvo fans

That being the case, when can we expect an "R" equivalent for the Octavia and Superb? ie: Four wheel drive, and let's say a v6 bi-turbo for the Superb, and a 2.0 4 cylinder turbo for the Octy?

No, I'm not buying that. I think it's more likely that the marketing strategy is:

Volkswagen to build Volkswagens.

Audi to build expensive Volkswagens.

Seat to build cheaper Volkswagens with boy racer accessories glued on.

Skoda to build cheap, family-oriented Volkswagens.

I also doubt we'll be seeing Skoda in the WRC past 2006 - that honour will go to one of the other companies in the group.
