Best product to clean vRS exhaust?

Featured Replies

You clean the INSIDE of the exhaust?

and the issue is?

I do it too :finger: :P

I use industrial size pipe cleaners for the inside of my exhaust. You should see the soot they fetch out, bit like sweeping a chimney.

With all this passion (which I totally support! :D ) regarding the cleanliness of the 'shiney rear orifice', I was also wondering how easy it is to remove come the inevitable time for exhaust renewal? Had a 'finisher' on my last car but that just corroded on and couldn't be salvaged when that section was changed. How does the vRS fare? I can't see a securing screw or nut anywhere - just seems to be all flush. How is it actually secured?

I'm pretty sure it's one piece. When I had a new back section I got a brand new tail pipe trim, i presume it's part of it, I didn't get charged extra for it!

Andy.

I use a product called "Astonish", also recommended for cleaning the Aga!
