MotoGP 2007

Things looking very interesting, since the tracks seem to split into 2 types:-

1) Casey Stoner / Ducati Lane tracks

2) Vale tracks!

:D :D :D

Rossi will prevail - I hope

But, yes, another interesting season ahead

Wouldn't be if it was F1 :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:

I'm in 2 minds about this one. Yes I'm a Vale fan, but I don't dislike CS, and I'm a Ducati fan too!

Of course, there's also the tech angle; how many other racing categories would you get vehicles with Desmodromic, air and conventional spring valves running that close to each other in?

Stoner seems to a more level headed rider this season.

Withstanding the pressure of Rossi behind him showed that in Sundays race.

In fact, it was Rossi that made the mistake, which shows you how hard he was trying.

I'm a Rossi and a Stoner fan, so I'm undecided who to cheer for!!

But ultimately, I would like to see Rossi win back the championship.

Guess who I am cheering for ?

It's great to see such close racing though, hope Vale can get the most out of the next few tracks

.

Rossi needs to get some wins in quickly but to me the Yamaha looks further off the pace than ever, I think Elias will be up towards the top as well come the end of the season. Who knows maybe this will be the Dr's last season.....on two wheels.

I get where you're coming from, but note my comment about the "Ducati Lane". As Stavros said in the preamble, it's ok being fast through the twisty bits, but not if there's a big red Ducati in your way when you get there (because it blew past you on the straight)!

Who's Rossi :P

That Ducati is seriously quick down the straights. Rossi really is riding that pants off the Yamaha to keep up. Would have been interesting to see the outcome if he stuck with him till the end.

But Rossi has 'been there' so many times before and still manages to outride them in the end + they always manage to eventually eke a bit more power out of the Yamaha.

Whatever - beats F1 into a cocked hat, these guys really do wear their heart on their sleeves.

Every time I watch a MotoGP I can feel the ol BP going up notch upon notch.

Tremendous stuff

I haven't watched an F1 race since I started watching Moto GP. Can't wait for the next one.

In the interviews ...did I hear right one rider was on about getting skid pads on his elbows  they don't half lean over don't they, those tyres must be really sticky

That'll be Tony Elias!! :D He makes all sorts of shapes when going thro' those corners!!

The next few races will be interesting.

Apparently, the Suzuki's will be getting new engine parts for a bit more power.

  , Melandri is also a good man at the Lean Angles ;)

Absolutely no comparison - I agree

Jean Phillipe Ruggia was getting his elbow down in the late eighties (might of been early 90's)........without falling off!!!
