You can't really compare insurance quotes as they based upon age/experience/location/distance/magic. My 340bhp octy for instance is now cheaper to insure than my previous 216bhp octy... work that one out :confused:

I'm going to be in the same boat soon. I mentioned to a mate in the Insurance business that I was with Highway, after a sharp intake of breath said that they were called that for a reason (robbery). Suggested i'm careful, as they add a lot of 'hidden' costs to any claims etc etc. Will have to get some guidance before accepting the 'best' quote that may cost me the earth, should something happen.

My renewal came out at

I'm with Adrian Flux with all mods declared. Was with Chris Knott last year but they only offered a decent renewal figure when I told them about other quotes I had. Flux gave me a good quote straight off and even though they were the cheapest I still got them to knock a bit more off. Green light are also worth looking at for modified insurance.
