How U Like My Tuned Fab?

Featured Replies

Be interesting to see how long those wheels stay on in Aberdeen

Nice work. I'm not a fan of "bad boy" bonnets/hoods etc, but as the whole, i like the look.

I think it looks hideous....but that's only my opinion.

@ SteVRs: I ain't taking my car with me. I would never dare drive my Fabia in foreign countries. It's way too dangerous.

@ rest: Thanks for all your comments. I appreciate them even of those who don't like my ride.

As far as I see people in Brittain seem to disapprove of chrome rims. In Switzerland people like it.

There are some things I like about it, some I don't.

I like the back alot, looks very nice.

The bonnet is nice aswell, the frontbumper is not so much my favorite.

The door handles removed at the back is

The chroom door handles in the front are :thumbdwn:

And wheels are nice again! (I like chroom, have some aswell but then again I'm Belgian and not Brittish :))

I'd instantly remove the "DUB" things if I was you.

"DUB" (in the way it is used in this logo) is intended for cars with at least 20" wheels.

It's a great car you have there and it makes it drop in style if you use these things on the wrong car (being a car without at least 20")

  I am not long back from Geneva and they are crazy drivers :) you'll have no probs in Aberdeen :D

 Those photo's sum this forum up perfectly.

Don`t like wheels. ~( black better?) ........But apart from that the car looks great. Nice to see some new ideas on the forum. The front end end and side skirts look wicked!

If i took my car to

"Pimp My Ride" this is how i would expect it to turn out. N1!!!

Rather i like the wheels but not on the VRS

@ FILA: Yeah, I respect your opinion. And I know the definition of DUB very well. But did you also know that DUB stands for a style that my car incorporates? Besides 20" and up rims, DUB has another meaning that stands for overall clean and simple painted cars with big chrome wheels on em.

I don't know but in my opinion these rims are absolutely gorgeous. Don't know why people think big chrome rims don't fit on a black Fabia. I personally think that multispoke wheels are not always the thing to go for. And chrome is chrome, period.

Holy Macaroni your ride is HOT!

i like the blue paint job in the engine bay.really sets it off.well done

First time I've seen suicide rear doors on a fabia! Nightmare to do?

I think it looks hideous....but that's only my opinion.

sorry, i agree, not to my taste, im more off a " less is more" kinda guy.

Obv done to a good standard by the looks though :)

woah thats pretty terrible

MAX POWER

The eastern Europeans love this kind of thing though. Different world in tuning terms!

yeah i know

im sure i seen an octavia once with a mercedes or was it a BMW front end?

lol!!

maybe there a good 15 years behind as we had all the wail tails and bad boy bodykits in the 90's?

Actually, as far as I know, this is the first Fabia with Suicide Doors on it. I'd say it's not a nightmare but definitely a hell lotta work...

@Big Jase: 15 years behind? I wouldn't say so. I mean if you compare a clean body work made to meet the highest standards with old-school bad boy bodykits from the nineties... It's fine if you don't like it and that was not the purpose to post it here either. I simply wanted to give my Fabia an individual tuner look with self-made parts and ideas.. It's a little Japan oriented, I admit. I think my second car would appeal to you more. It's a VW Eos with KW coilover suspension, black polish 18 inch alloys and nothing more to it. That one is my daily driver and I want it to have a classy look. It's just a matter of taste and what style of customization you prefer. There are definitely other ways of customizing a Fabia too and I had gone another way if had got me a second Fabia...

@devonutopia: well if you consider Switzerland as a part of Eastern Europe. But on the other hand, you don't consider the UK as part of Europe either, right?

@The Underdog: I totally accept your opinion. But the idea behind this VRS was to turn it into something unique anyway; something people wouldn't expect from a Skoda as the brand is still not as prestigeous as VW or Audi, for example. But this way, they look at it and are astonished to find out that it is actually a Skoda :-)

yes people are going to have different taste's thats just life

my preference is oem + with some trick engine mods

:D

Not a fan mate, it is very max power but if you like it then thats why you've done it :)

Dukebigtime - welcome to the site and I salute your politeness in the face of one or two untoward comments! Your car isn't to my taste but it looks like you've put a lot of hard work into it and it looks great. Nice colour too, I like the blue highlights on the brakes and engine. All the best.

It's not a style of car I would like to drive around in myself, maybe when I was 15 years younger, but there are certain aspects I like.

Think the doors look cool, the bonnet is very interesting. As much as I dont like ott bodykits, there is definately something about the shape of the front bumper that is appealling, I have seen much worse on chav'd up cars over here! Dont think the rear bumper matches the front. Not keen on the mirrors, but I dont like m3 style, and another thumbs down for the chrome lol.

I think if the car was in Fast & Furious then it wouldnt look out of place. The standard of work is fantastic, hats off to you for that, and also for taking any criticism (some harsh/blunt) very well. B)
