VRS Front Seat Covers - In Progress!

Featured Replies

wasnt really sure which forum to pop this in but just wanted to do an update on my quest for decent seat covers for VRS models. My octy's front seats are taking a hammering due to kiddies etc so I approached a company who I'm working with to produce some rather tasty front seat covers.

The only ones I could find were just skoda logo'd, so i wanted to get some decent ones made.

Anyway the 'first stitched' prototypes have been done and this is a taster:

Will keep you updated on when they will be avaliable. I am getting the first production samples sent to me so I'll take my own shots. Could be also cool to get some Briskoda logo'd sets to generate some income for the club.

any comments appreciated...I'll pass them on.

i like the look of them i would have em on my car  how much would they cost?

brisky ones would be good to

I like that - Would be good for my Fabia.. How much do you think they would cost?

Im sure we could set up a group buy - You could put my name down for sure!!

Surly this would go in the Octavia forum as it's for octy vRS ?

Looks good though, I'd be up for a set if they were keenly priced.

they are actually based on universal fitting front seat covers so they'll be good for both the fabia and octavias (1&2). I havent directly asked the question regarding price (my guess is

Warning:

A good tight fit on seat covers is essential to avoid the Nora Batty 'wrinkled stockings' look!!

Has anybody contacted hatchbag about doing some ones with logos on?

I got a full set, front, back and boot. The quality is really good!

Maybe they could work the logo into some?

Hmmm i was hoping for a more "fitted" fit. I just can't seem to find any that look good and don't "look" like bogo generic covers you can pickup at halfords...... oh well.

Good effort though.

the hatchbag ones are v.expensive.

regarding fit....I'll take loads of shots when I get the sample through....Cant imagine they will be badly fitting tbh

I would buy a set of these, Gonna be using my car for work again soon so will be needing them.

I've been looking for some decent quality, good looking, airbag compatable seat covers for ages. Would be well interested in some of those.

Very good idea. I would love some ! Will there some for the rear seats ??

Daft question though, would the fabric used for the covers allow the leather to "breathe" ?(it would be a shame if it kept the seats clean, but buggered the leather at the same time.)

Suppose they would look ok in a ground works van but not in my car........sorry, quite poor realy:thumbdwn: But that's my opinion, no offence:)

Looking good! I'll probably be interested in a set too when they're available.

I'd be very interested, my TA gear is ruining the seats!

  • 4 weeks later...

So are these available then?
