Featured Replies

I like them...what do other people think?

So do I, the special edition needed something more to make it that special.

They look good with the window tints.

Are they on the motor or is that a photshop ?

Window tints come as standard on these models.

They look good, am thinking about changing the wheels on mine if I keep it.

I knew that.:P

I prefer the original wheels to be honest

The wheels are on...

They are BBS RXIIs as fitted to the VW Golf Mk3 GTI Anniversary models, 7.0 x 16.

I had the tyres swapped over the day after I picked the car up.

Hmmh - sorry , I'm a bit Roy Walker on how they look.

"It's good, but it's not right"

You modified your SE  lol

Umm nice. I have the same kinda style wheels on my vRS, but they are silver and 17s. I like the colour of your wheels, shame they are only 16s, but will look sweet if you get it lowered  Good job.

They look good I think! I thought that the non 16V Golf IIIs were 4 stud though , or is the Anniversary model 16V only?

stick with the old ones until you find some that suit it better

I like it. Kind of gives it a bit of a lupo gti look to me. :)

Looks nice, just needs lowering a lot!

Should put these on it:

Nope...all Mk3 GTIs/VR6s are 5 stud.

You could get both 8v (600 cars) and 16v (150 cars) 20th Anniversary GTIs in both 3dr and 5dr, in 5 colours (Flash Red, Satin Silver, Mystic Blue, Flat Black and Metallic Balck)

Which makes my 5dr, Satin Silver 16v Anniversary a pretty rare car!

I happen to have 4 sets of the 7" wide Anniversary BBS wheel as they are my favourite wheel...hence fitting a set onto the vRS.

'fraid not...

They are on to stay. I have a set with winter tyres on too...

I was hoping not to bother lowering...but as you say, it really does need it. Epecially with those wheels on.

awful, IMO of course, but the wheels which suit the Fabia best are either the pegasus alloys from the Octavia MK1 in 17" form, TT wheels or 17" S-Line Audi A4/A6 alloys.

Should put these on it:

Glad you like it...I think those wheels divide opinion anyway...but I like them, they are light, strong and still 16", so tick all the boxes.

Today was another good day...

2 sets of parts picked up for it...and one box of bits arrived by courier.

Looks like tomorrow will be mostly spent in the garage...

That's what years of teaching by you, does for me.

Besides, I don't recall you making it public that you were getting one!
