Featured Replies

I was driving the car this afternoon, and got the low temperature warning bong / snowflake symbol (outside temp of +4 deg C).

Classic bank holiday weather???

Tell me about it, apparently today was 17c colder than last weekend and could well be the coldest whitsun bank holdiday on record.

It's been lovely here in Keighley all afternoon, albeit a tad chilly, yet it was weeing down in a big stylie in Halifax this morning.

very odd ( or is that me?)

been cold here this evening too - pondered putting the heating on, but ended up just cuddling a couple of cats instead

Recall seeing it snow in early June once but wasn't really heavy falls just occasional fluttering !

It was the coldest Cricket test match ever yesterday , 7C at Headingley!

trade you all the weather - last nite rain drizzling, sand blowing (visibility was down to about 50 metres) and it was 44 deg C during the day.......

And I bet it doesn't make the newspapers, with

"Coldest day in may on record!!!!!!! global warming is reversed!!! everyone drive their cars twice as much today, so we can get some more CO2 into the atmosphere!! oh, hang on...... CO2 from our cars makes up a FINITE ammount.... everyone send China $100000 dollers so it can build a few more coal/gas/ powered power stations! five a week isn't enough!!!!"

*puts soap box away
