Just like to introduce ourselves, as in the user name, Russ of course short for Russell and Riss (The Mrs) short for Larissa, saves all the hassel we both have joined.

Just bought our very first Skoda, Octavia VRS, we used to drive this........

She was a stunning car, but cost the earth to run, we wanted something with a bit of poke and what can we say.....we are not disappointed, we love the Octavia to bits, cannot fault the performance at all and the build quality is fantastic. We are happy with her with the way she is at the moment, but I should imagine the modding will happen at some point :naughty:

Hope to be speaking to alot of you very soon, and attending some of the meets in Cardiff and other places Oh and we are now driving this.......

Well Im pulling a few of the scoob boys over as well, Ive turned one but he's off on his hols and he'll be buying one when he gets back.

Lots of power at half the cost and Im loving it.

I couldn't completely let it go - I had to go for a Race Blue Octy, My Impreza was WR Blue.

I do miss the impreza but not the expense of running her, I just done a 200mile round trip to West Wales and back I used just under half a tank, doing the same journey in the scoob full tank , so Im really enjoying my Octavia right now.

As with regards to the banana colour :confused: it does grow on you but I have to admit, I wasnt sure then I took the car for a test drive and then I didnt care, she could have had purple spots as well, she was fab
