Looking good there fella.......

I'm liking the wheels but undecided on the filler caps...... I like the top design but just think they stand up a little too proud for me...... If ya see what i mean.

Cheers

Dave.

Cheers Dave - do know what you mean about the 'proudness' - I thought the same as I took the pic.

Seems they're a bit more marmite these, than I imagined! :D

I know what you mean...... I've had mods like that before in the past.......

Got a couple of jobbies to do on my car tomorrow..... So it'll be my turn to update my thread.

Cheers

Dave.

Look forward to seeing them Dave

Do like this section of the site, great idea - if only to go back through things myself, so I know what I did and when!

I should start a thread entitled...

Things that have been done to my car that I can't be arsed to take pictures of, or tell anyone about.

But I can't be bothered.

Keep us updated though Steve, won't you? Ta.:D

Cheers - pretty happy considering it's only had occasional snow foam, shampoo and Last Touch on it since about October! So my wax choice is working out well

Facelifts - ASAP, maybe next weekend

Following a request for some more info, I thought I'd post some detail on the steps, and products used so far:

Original detail consisted of:

  • Snowfoam via Karcher pressure washer and Karcher foam lance
  • Wheels and arches cleaned with Virosol citrus cleaner
  • Wash via two buckets and Meg's Gold Class shampoo
  • Clay with Meg's Claybar and Meg's Quick Detailer for paintwork lubrication
  • Mezerna Intensive Polish via PorterCable
  • Mezerne Final Polish via PorterCable
  • Jeff's Workstrong sealant via damp applicator pad
  • Collinite 476S (2 coats)

Regular washing consists of:

  • Snowfoam
  • Wheels and arches cleaned with Virosol citrus cleaner
  • Wash via two buckets and Meg's Gold Class
  • Spray with Meg's Last Touch and dry with Meg's Water Magnet towel

September saw a regular wash and the addition of Victoria Concourse wax over the top of the Collinite.

Cheers,

Steve
