Aero Wiper Conversion

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Was just wondering what aero wipers fit on the front end of fabia's.

Many thanks 5tu!

look at WIPERBLADES.CO.UK : The UK's Premier Online Store

I've fitted the TruPart ones - they're cheap but they got a good review. Not convinced. Had them on about three weeks and think that they're starting to smear. Planning to keep an eye and return them if they don't improve (but want to be sure first).

If I swapped them, I would try the Valeo ones next.

Cheers for the link, they are very affordable.

Do u know if the vw polo arms and blades would fit?

Pass - but why bother when you can get Bosch ones to fit as standard?

I'm gonna go with the bosch blades. cheers guys

5tu!

so you can get that bosch ones from halfords and they'll fit straight on?

stu

Not sure about the Halfords ones, but the ones from wiperblades.co.uk will :)

Depends bosch do two ranges, one with the connector for the aero arms and one with the connector to retrofit the standard arms.

Big thumbs up for the valeo retrofit ones though as these work well :)

Yes, they are retrofit types that use the existing arms without modification.

Highly recommend them...

WOOHOO!!!! Mine are just starting to get over the hill...... They've had some hammer over the last 14 months!!!! Should save myself a few quid then by not having to get them from the Renault dealer.

Cheers

Dave.

Just ordered a pair of the Bosch ones from wiperblades.co.uk

I'll be ordering some too in a weeks time when I've been paid. My dealer supplied normal ones have only lasted 6 months and the drivers side is juddering and squelching like mad, even after 2x vinegar treatments.

Aero here we come. :D

The heap if **** Astra 1.6 that I had as a hire car last week had em on and they're very good. Shame about the rest of the car though.....

I've just been on the wiperblades.co.uk website to check on the price for the Bosch aero wipers...... I've currently got the Renault one's fitted which are of different sizes to the normal Skoda ones.... Drivers side is 600mm and the passenger side is 400mm. Now i prefer these sizes to the originals as it gives more drivers side visibilty and also means the area wiped is of the same height on both the drivers & passengers side wipers.

So anyway i check the website and sure enough the one's for the fabia are the same size as the Skoda OEM ones and are priced at
