Fine people don't believe me but I am doing a journalism course in my spare time and been approaching some mags for some work.That was why I was talking to this guy. My own personal view is the 122 would make sense, Skoda going for the warm hatch, cheaper insurance bracket whist keeping costs down and enabling any car to be priced reasonably.

Yeah some geezer I met on the street said he would arrange for me to have a test drive of the prototype. But then where does the fabia sport fit into the equation? it's not a bad car with the PD105, would it be Skoda aiming for the slightly tepid hatch end of the market

This bloke offered a great deal on a brand new Mk2 VRS only yesterday!

Am sure i read some where that the 122 motor comes in 148 bhp form as well. A Non-Twin charged vRS with 150 bhp & 7 speed DSG makes a lot of sense. If they give it Brembo 4 pots on the front even better.

Remember its rather tall & not too wide i think 150 bhp would be about right.
