Mine has colour coded bumpers and is a mk1/pre facelift!!

The good thing with felicias is that they look good with either painted or bare plastic bumpers i think!!

yup i sure do, they are standard with the model tis a Laurin & Klement you see. The front seats are heated too for those cold winter mornings! lol

Its just the 1.3 single point injection engine like yours they did them in the 1.6 too but not the 1.9d.

200 made all together, 100 estates and 100 hatch backs!

Jaymz. No idea about costs, but the vital thing to know about colour-coding plastic bumpers is that you need a flexible plastic primer, a normal car body primer won't do.

the bumper strips would u colour code them as well. thanks for the advice bud :D

Practical side says "don't colour rubbing strips".

Styling says colour them or remove them for the smoothed out Euro-style look (and then ruin it all by fitting over-width wheels).

So it's a judgement call, but I'd not bother cos I have to park the car places where other people might not be too careful about touches or opening their doors.

tip. if you guna paint the bumpers and not the strips, get new strips. your guna mangle them getting them off to paint the bumper.

and you'll need a good plastic primer, planty of wet & dry, and the paint.

take the fuel cap cover to an auto paint specialist and get a match, a fresh pot of the right coad paint wont match the paint on the car.

In my opinion looking at your car Jaymz i wouldn't bother touching the bumpers as i think the colour of the bodywork works well with the black and colour coded bumpers are prone to getting scratches etc. I am also unsure that unless you get them professionally sprayed a tin of paint will look that good. I have seen many attempts at spraying bumpers around my way and the paint is either flat or peeling like an orange!!

More important are getting some decent wheels if you want to jazz it up a bit as this will make a massive difference
