Well i got a call from the guy who viewed my Impreza at the weekend to say he'll take it.

So it's all arranged to be dropped off tomorrow night...and then...

I go to the garage..and the box with the V5, MOT certificate, service booklet, receipts..is empty !!!

The service stuff is fine, as the buyer knows the garage where it's been serviced, and they can vouch for it.

But the V5 and MOT is just killing me...

I know you can get replacements...but not that quick.

Anyone got any ideas ? Am mega stuck.

Sounds to me like you have had them both out to show someone, and just need to have a really good hunt around for them. They must be somewhere in you house.

DVLA website says up to

As said before the MOT document can be reissued for no more than a tenner, any test station can do this but best to take some ID with you.

I'm at work at the moment..so the missus is busy raking through boxes in the garage.

Fingers crossed she finds something.

I work half a mile away from the local DVLA, so will pop in at lunch for advice if nothing is found.

Panic over...Everything found.

In all places i looked...i didn't think of checking the garden shed. As you do !

They were in a bag, in there.

Panic over, smile back on face..and 22hours till the Octavia is mine.

:eek: The garden shed isnt the the safest place for documents. Get them locked in a safer place in the house.
