Scoobynet - Slowly getting the Skoda message

Featured Replies

Nah - black with pimp tints, can't think of any really. Depends where this was.

Possibly Paul - MonkeyBoy

Wasn't Jon in his SDi then? Now that would have been funny :D

Chris

How long before Jon gets involved in that llittle discussion then?

Especially with the guy with a handful of posts slagging the Skud off.

funny how some people just wont admit there is a faster car out there than the one they drive.

Tis true!

I have a 400bhp+ Scooby though. Good fun, but I fancy a Skoda sometime!

You have it at last ? Excellent! Does it go well?

:D

dont get me wrong, my 180bhp vRS isnt going to live with something of simular weight but more power, i dont try it on with any scooby i see or the 225 tt's but you know what i mean.

its like the M5 forum someone posted about, just because its a Skoda dont write it off !

is that me being defensive of my car !!?? :D

According to others on here you should try it on with the TTs - you might be surprised!

And the "mine is best" syndrome is just as prevalent amongst Skoda owners as any other marque - it's pride, a human failing :D

Not as surprised as the TT drivers are

I use to have trouble with 225 tts pre-tweaking of the engine, but as most(?) of us here have at least remaps, you should not find them too much of a problem... (unless they've been tweaked likewise!)

Lee

Could have been James with his now infamous vRS.

who needs a remap to tw4t a TT? just go around a corner instead................if their handling wont stuff 'em their sunglasses falling off their head will blind them

Looks and sounds like we have really hurt the pride of a few scooby owners  What hurts a person more? Being beaten by a scooby, or a skoda?? I rest my case!

Alan

its such a shame... and we havent tried to wind them up yet?

I bought mine not just for it's performance (which is great!) but for everything that comes with owning a Scoob that you can't get with say the Skoda. The rally pedigree, the flat four throb, the admiring looks from fellow car enthusiasts, it's presence, the list goes on...

What is this bloke on??? He obviously thinks that rallying only began with Colin McRae or that Skoda have only sarted rallying since the Octavias, as Skoda have a rally history that Subaru would find it hard to match given that it stems from the company's beginings with the early motorbikes.

he forgot.....

the chocolate engine.... the laughable maf... the ultra strong gearbox... the hilarious fuel consumption the incredible insurance quotes... oh and the utter gayness of 4x4.
