hey all how do I go about removing the rear badge???

The skoda badge or fabia badge.

I alway use a hair driver. Got a nice blister after removing the rear badger the other week.

the skoda badge.

You can simply remove it by using some strong fishing line and sawing through the glue gently

BUT - there will be two holes left in the boot which will need either covering up with another badge, or filled in and repainted by a bodyshop. :)

Nice big chisel and a lump hammer should do the trick.

Devon's solution is by far the best one; although i resorted to using a butter knife to get my 'fabia' badge off!

:iagree: I found 50lb trace line the best. 15lb mainline eventually just frayed and snapped. :D

:o oops, I didnt say, it was your fishin' bag :P, And I found a bottle of milk and a flask of tea in it from the afternoon up the forth, how long ago?

There wouldnt be any fish in it anyway.

20 quid to stand for 5 hrs is a rip off.

better find somewhere else to poach (i mean fish)

Wish someone had told the local scrotage that a few months ago! :(

I found boiling the kettle and pouring it over the badge. Then mine just pulled off and i just got some tar and glue remover, then finished it off with some polish.

Get some rsole to sneak onto your drive during the night and lever it

off with a blunt instrument ... leaving the paintwork chipped and a dented

just found out the scrote did 16 other local cars that night and he is being charged

for damage ......... when I discover who he is then I`m afraid he wont be able to pick

his nose for a month or two

Just out of interest are there any decent replacement badges?? Had a look at the milotec ones but the dont look that good to be honest!!
