Cheers men! i really cant wait to get them, I ordered 8's for the front and 9's for the back, they come with proper spacers which fix to the wheel first and then you just bolt the wheels on as normal, The offset of the front wheels will be et 35 and the rears are et 62, should both finish flush with the arch  will put pics on as soon as i get them on

not to my taste tbh, but respect for going for something different.

9"!!!! Mental!

I reckon they may stick out more :D

I like them though - something porsche about it now. :)

PS: I hope the wheels you ordered come with 5 studs not 4. ;)

Just to add, I think the wheels are awesome. IIRC Ross had them on the truck. Just not sure they suit the Octy.

Its going to look cool Dale

Yeah they are 5 stud  would be a damn shame if they weren't.

My Dads had these wheels on his jetta 7x15's and now has them on his polo 8x14's. They are class wheels in my opinion and i think they suit the octy well. They wont stick out as the offset is set 3quarts of an inch each side of the wheel and they are et 60's which means they will need spacing out 20mm  should finish flush with the outside of the arch. :D

What the hell is a booler?

Thank goodness somebody else asked :sofahide:

wheels:rofl: just had a phone call today and RH have stopped doing 9's, dubmeister decided to ring me a week after ordering them to tell me so i'm having to settle for the 8's all round  still should look cool though.

i was just going to post and ask if your still making them in the garage :D

Looking nice, hope your car is allready on coilovers, as it will need to be to pull off 17's!

Yeh, and u really would need stretched tyres probs for 9's, ala my car:

The ones in that pic are very illegal - do you just use them on the track?

Very illegal according to who?

Not according to cops or my mot station, thats for sure!

I now have the wheels on, i have also lowered the car by 40mm on spax springs. Its a little hard but it'll do till i get some coily's. Really could do with lower profile tyres too but thats all to look forward to. i'll put up some shots later in my thread on freedoms rides.

Very illegal according to who?

Not according to cops or my mot station, thats for sure!

The wheels/tyres must NOT be the widest part of the car. It is illegal, and should NOT pass an MOT. You have just been lucky, thats all. :)

Does that mean an Ariel Atom wouldn't pass an MOT?
