Most popular colour fabia esp. vRS

Featured Replies

See lots of silver and black ones about, few red ones in Kent but not so many yellows... guess its too lurid for some Skoda owners?!

Not the same for Ibiza's, different age group buys them??

My parents have Silver VRS

Thought about Yellow but decided I couldn't live with it day in day out.

Had 3x black cars followed by a red one just before getting the Furby so decided to go for something different and get silver.

It can be a little boring but does look nice when cleaned up. Shiny wheels are a must though to make it look its best.

Yellow - common as muck

My experiences of Sparshatts have not been happy ones - maybe they're better now than they used to be, but I'd be going in with my eyes open!

I had a pretty ****ty experience with them last week too.

seen mostly silver ones up around here in the north west..

I saw a VRS SE parked outside dominoes/richer sound in chester this morning and it was so eye catching!

haha how funny is that? is it me or is there a faded yella car on the far left (back). I dont know, i just feel yella and black dont really suit fabia...

really want silver if not blue, but there's a few fabia's in my area and next door neighbour has one!

The one on the far left is a new model which is in a different yellow, it also has colour coded handles.

That was at the BBQ meet in 2006 if Im not mistaken :)

The one at the back I believe is the newer Sprint yellow where the others are the previous yellow which I can't remember the name of. Black doesn't suit fabias? Are you crazy I think black is the best followed by Silver but I'm a bit biased towards black ;)

Well there are at least 6 Briskodians who don't agree with you. In fact I think yellow & black is one of the most effective combinations there is. People certainly get out of your way when you come up behind them.

which yellow is the vRS going to be in? one at the back or like the others? or is it dependent on year?

plus, is there any known issues with colour fade on any of the fabia's?

My Fabia 1.4 16V is in a nice dark metallic grey colour. Does anybody happen to know what the official Skoda name for this colour is, just for reference? I'm very pleased with the colour anyway.

As mentioned the one at the back (left hand side of the pic) is Sprint Yellow which is the newer colour (I think it was MY06 onwards).

There may have been a very small overlap (a month or two), but generally colour coded door handles will indicate the new Sprint Yellow - older version came with black handles (although of course some may have been colour coded by their owners).

I thought everyone knew red cars are the fastest?

Seriously I wanted a silver one originally but saw this at a very good price and thought sod it, I can make it work.:D

I think red and white cars are getting more popular again.

Lemon yellow was (i think) the name for the older yellow colour.

I would happily have a yellow one, but SWMBO doesn't like them.

If i'd been buying new, i'd have bought a yellow one. My last car was yellow, but that's pretty much the default colour for the old Megane Coup

Got a grey one for SWMBO. Picking up my nice blue SE on Saturday.

whats a SWMBO? well my reasons for colours is that silver is quite neutral, and good for resell... and black gets dirty too easily.

i do like the blue but damn SE!! GRRR!! looks like i might have to start looking at red/yella, quite cheap

whats a SWMBO?

Is that stuck over the heating elements?

Is that stuck over the heating elements?

Chris

Yeah, why? Do you reckon it'll be a problem if I ever need to take it off?

I'll probably have this car for the next 6 years anyway, so not really too much of an issue.

Dependant on how bad it is, it 'might' be a problem, but doubt it will.

I think what Chris means is, HaHa, You support Liverpool? :P

i wanted a red or black one and bought a red one...however i think silver and black are the most popluar colors. I hate silver but black is cool.>>Still lovin my little red one!
