Hey peeps, I have a 1.8T Superb Comfort, and basically I'm working towards a JabbaSport Remap, as well as a new exhaust system.

Has anyone gone for a sporty exhaust on their superb? I quite fancy a twin exit myself.

Also, is the Official Skoda aftermarket sports exhaust really any good?

I've been looking at a twin exit for mine from Pipewerx.

Can't offer any advice on this but would be interested to see what look you could achieve with this as IMHO the exhaust is better hidden behind the bumper......

According to the literature it provides an additional 3bhp. I have also had a full ECU remap courtesy of Revo and that has transformed the car. Car is smoother and more responsive. It doesnt go any faster but getting there is a lot quicker so safer overtaking. The original code is left on the ECU and can be switched from manufacturers settings to Revos settings at a flick of the switch. Fuel consumption is slightly inmproved. I also run it on BP ultimate. So that is my contribution to the Forum. Hope it is useful

This is even more interesting.... What's the age of your Superb, Drummond and which engine is fitted? Have you had any issues with the DPF with the unit fitted, as other remappers / chippers have failed to get these working effectively.

Can i know is the Sport exhaust loud?? I have just ordered one and am thinking of installing it. However if it too loud i cannot take the sound. Coz after driving around for 1-2hours it will be frustrating!

My Superb is a 2007 Model Elegance with the 2.00 PD Engine. Discussed the DPF problem d they with REVO before they re-wrote the code for my particular ECU. I do 500 + miles a week mainly motorway and 5000 miles since the remap no problems encountered. Thanks REVO . As an aside it seems that the problems with the DPF is occuring in cars that only do town and short jurneys and this means the soot convertor never gets up to temperature do burn off the soot into ash. The tank of fluid held under the spare wheel is to help raise the exhaust gas temperature to burn off this soot otherwise it clogs up and initiates the emmisions warning. Well that is what I have been led to believe. Let me know if I have it wrong.

The REMUS exhaust is no louder than the original and in MHO looks great and improves gas flow.

The 2007 Superb also has a firmer spring set up factory supplied as standard which means it does corner with bit more agility. I have fitted 18" Alloys with Vredenstein Rubber:)

Not far off, the fluid is basically iron filings held in suspension, this breaks down the soot, as you quite right said due to the shape of the body there is no room to get the DPF near the turbo where it needs to be to get hot enough.

THAT big? Cripes! Dunno why, but I thought it'd be a silly small thing. Does this replace the cat or in addition to one? Do these need to be replaced at some point too??
